From   “The Great Year in Greek, Persian and Hindu Astronomy”

It is worth remembering the Hindu astronomers were using the sidereal year.
According to Aryabhata, the Sun’s revolution around Earth, with respect to
the stars, takes 365.25875 mean solar days.

Venus:
585199 revolutions in 360000 sidereal years.
1.6255528 revolutions in 1 sidereal year
Period of revolution = 1 / 1.6255528 = 0.615175 sidereal year
                              = 0.615175 x 365.25875 / 365.2422 tropical year
                              = 0.615203 tropical year
It should be noted it is the heliocentric period.
True period = 0.615210 tropical year
Error of Aryabhata = 3.7 minutes
